Dormant Giant
Jökulsárlón, SE-Iceland
On a cold December morning the skies where clear and the dormant volcano Örćfajökull was lit up with pink alpenglow. Mt. Örćfajökull rarely sees this kind of light as all too often there are clouds on the horizon that block these colorful early morning rays. Luck was with us and the colorful light brought contrast to the ridges and glacial features of the snowy mountain.
