Geothermal Colors

The Landmannalaugar area in Iceland is the most colorful of Icelands landscapes. The high geothermal activity in this large area creates the most colorful rock formations. The patches of hot ground creates the fundamentals for very low lying and slow growing vegetation to flourish in the otherwise lifeless dese
