Electric Atmosphere

The Aurora last weekend was quite spectacular. I had planned to shoot the Aurora over Lake Kleifarvatn. I positioned myself at a southern part of the lake so I could shoot over it as the Aurora usually appears from north-west to north-east. I had the perfect view over the lake from a hill waiting for the Aurora. But this time it appeared to the south-west. My lake view Aurora was not going to happen so I pointed the camera the other way towards the hills.
