Black Mountain

After sunset is the best time of day to photograph volcanoes. I have narrowed it down to a 15 minute time frame that renders the best light both for the flying magma and the fore/background. Here we can see the volcano of Fimmvörðurháls, Iceland and the Landmannalaugar region in the background.
