Sunset Observer

This rock formation is called Hvítserkur. Its an old injection of magma into a underground fissure. Over a long period of time the fissure came up to the surface and the ocean cleaned away all the soft rock around the magma injection forming the unique structure. These things can been seen in quite a few places around Iceland.
